Fulham fans have been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding their football club.

This comes after Sky Sports posted on Twitter that Scott Parker and Fulham are ‘in the process of finalising the mutual termination of his contract’, with Bournemouth reportedly interested in naming Parker as their new manager.

Fulham fans were quick to react to the news and many weren’t shy when sharing their thoughts…

Think we’ll look back at this with regret. I have little doubt he’ll go on to have a very good managerial career. #ffc

@TonyKhan that is yet another manager gone under your stewardship. It is time for you to get out of our club, you are making us into a laughing stock.”

Judging by the responses to the tweet, there are mixed feelings from Fulham fans towards Parker’s departure, with many fans actually happy to see the back of him.

Parker was unable to keep Fulham in the Premier League last season as the Cottagers finished 18th in the Premier League after promotion via the play-offs the season prior.

Parker has been the manager of Fulham since 2019 and has managed more than 100 games as Fulham boss, achieving an average points-per-game tally of 1.3. Prior to managing the Whites, he was the assistant manager under both Claudio Ranieri and Slavisa Jokanovic.

It looks like Parker will be getting his second senior managerial job as he is expected to go and manage Bournemouth upon leaving Fulham, but it appears not many fans will miss him.
