Fulham fans have been reacting to the latest news involving their club as Marlon Fossey has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
“That’s actually pretty nice. He was very highly rated pre-injury. Hopefully this shows he’s still rated as good enough to make it.”
“Great to see”
“Great news #ffc”
“Finally good news”
“Seen this lad play twice in pre-season the last couple of years and he’s been superb. Hopefully he can put his injuries behind him and kick on with plenty minutes in the Championship this season.”
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Shrewsbury Town, where he made seven appearances in League One before being forced to return to Fulham early for rehabilitation after picking up a knee injury in November.
Marlon Fussey is a full-back that can play on both the left and right-hand side and played five times in the Premier League 2 division for Fulham U23s in the second half of the season after recovering from his knee injury which kept him out for two months.
It seems clear that fans hold a lot of promise over the future of Fossey, and amid Fulham’s drop to the second tier, perhaps there is an opportunity for the youngster to grab at Craven Cotttage, rather than going out on loan again.
