Everton would consider selling Allan this summer if a good offer came in, the club’s former striker Marcus Bent has told This Is Futbol in an exclusive interview.

The Brazilian midfielder is being linked with a move away from Everton despite only joining from Napoli last year.

According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, who brought Allan to England for £21m, wants the 30-year-old to join him in the Spanish capital.

Allan managed to make an impact at Everton last season, shielding the team’s back four well. According to WhoScored, he averaged 3.3 tackles per league game – the most in the squad.

Even so, Bent believes the Toffees would be willing to listen to offers for the former Napoli man.

“I think he done really well and they’d be sad to lose him,” the ex-Everton player said. “But I think with the money that they could get for him with the season that he’s had, I think they’d think about selling him.”

Allan is not the only Everton player being touted for a reunion with Ancelotti. According to the MailOnline, James Rodriguez’s representatives are exploring the possibility of the attacker returning to Real Madrid and linking up with his former boss again.
