Former Everton forward Marcus Bent has revealed that Everton could sanction a deal to sell Moise Kean this summer if the price is right.

Kean joined Everton in the summer of 2019 from Juventus and endured a difficult first season in English football as he only managed to score two goals in 33 appearances in all competitions. His struggles at Everton were highlighted when he was dragged off by then-interim manager Duncan Ferguson after only 18 minutes on the pitch as a substitute against Manchester United.

However, Kean joined PSG last summer and seemed to enjoy life in the French capital, scoring 19 goals overall.

Bent has revealed that he could leave Merseyside on a permanent deal this summer if the right offer is tabled to Everton.

Speaking to Transfer Tavern, he had this to say on the future of the Italian forward:

“We would consider it at the right price.

“He’s young, he’s a good player and he’s clearly talented – and that’s what I got from Everton people behind the scenes.”

TIF Thoughts on Moise Kean’s future…

Currently valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, Everton could look to cut their losses on the former Juventus man as they could hold out for all of the £27.5m fee they spent on him two years ago.

However, for Kean, he could look to put himself back in contention at Everton as they’ll have a new manager coming through the Goodison Park doors at some point during the summer, meaning he’ll get a clean slate to try and impress wh0ever is appointed.

That said, after a successful personal season in Paris, Kean could look to return to Ligue 1 if they table the correct amount of money – a move that would probably be best for all of the parties involved.
