To kick off this quiz on Seamus Coleman, what squad number does the right-back currently wear for the Toffees?

The Toffees appointed Ancelotti in December 2019, but the opportunity to take over at Real was too good for the Italian to ignore, and attention has turned to finding his replacement.

One man who Jones thinks could take the job is Brighton & Hove Albion boss Graham Potter, who favours an attractive style, but Jones thinks that even though he could be in contention, he would hope for a better candidate to appear.

He said: “One of my cousins was speaking to me about Graham Potter before, and he was saying that he thinks Graham Potter would be a great fit.

“Brighton did play some very nice football last season. I think he did a lot of things right; I think he did a lot of things wrong. I think there’s still certainly a learning curve to go there because obviously, he’s still a young coach who needs to develop.

“I would hope there would be somebody better out there. I wouldn’t exactly be really, really disappointed if Graham Potter was the man. I think he would be better than somebody like a Nuno.”

Do you think that Potter would be a good replacement for Ancelotti?

TIF Thoughts on Graham Potter…

The Seagulls played some brilliant football in the 2020/21 season, and if they had a prolific striker, they may have finished much higher up the table, as their expected points tally was way above their actual total.

So, Potter could get the Toffees playing some good stuff, and with Dominic Calvert-Lewin as their striker, they would have some threat and could be a dangerous side.

However, with the likes of Rafael Benitez and Nuno Espirito Santo available, might the Toffees decide to go for someone who has a higher profile than Potter?
