West Brom fans have been reacting on social media, to a report that West Brom are interested in free agent Kyle Lafferty.

This comes after ‘West Brom Fan TV‘ tweeted the rumour crediting a report by Football League World, and many Baggies fans were quick to give their opinion on the link.

Judging by the replies, West Brom fans aren’t too pleased by the transfer rumour regarding the 33-year-old journeyman.

The Northern Ireland international signed for Kilmarnock in February after leaving Serie B side Reggina and scored eight goals in nine appearances for the Scottish side in the SPFL this season, before leaving the club at the end of the season following the expiry of his contract.

Lafferty hasn’t played in England since a spell at Sunderland in 2020. His SPFL WhoScored rating from this season was 7.74, suggesting that the forward definitely still has the talent, but is he a good fit for the Baggies, who are still yet to appoint a new manager?

If West Brom are interested in Lafferty, they may face competition to sign him with Football League World reporting that Birmingham City and Derby County are also keen on the 33-year-old.
