Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding their football club.

This comes after Sheffield Wednesday’s official Twitter account announced the season ticket prices for the year ahead.

Adult Kop Season Tickets are priced at £365, while South Stand supporters will pay £495 for the season, in what is the largest reduction in price, according to the club website.

Fans of the Owls were quick to respond to the tweet by the club’s official Twitter account, and weren’t shy when expressing their opinions.

“£445 on the North is still massively overpriced when we’re in the 3rd division and appear to be in one hell of a mess on and off the pitch.”

Judging by the responses to the tweet, the majority of Sheffield Wednesday fans still aren’t too impressed by the new prices despite a reduction.

Sheffield Wednesday had a difficult season both on and off the pitch as they were relegated to League One on the final day of the season, following a six-point deduction last summer, while their battles off the field have continued following the end of the campaign, with reports of players not being paid.

With their season ticket prices notoriously known for being one of the highest in the Championship, it is perhaps no surprise these supporters have voiced their frustrations in light of their relegation.

Wednesday fans – What do you think of the club’s new season ticket prices?
