Many Sheffield United fans have today been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding their football club on Twitter.
However, as the Blades ended up finishing rock-bottom of the league, they find themselves preparing for life in the Championship.
So how exactly did Sheffield United fans react to the news?
“Don’t make me cry”
Judging by the reactions of Sheffield United fans they seem to be split into two camps – those who are happy to let Bogle go for a sizeable fee, and those who believe there is no point in him jumping ship due to Norwich’s yo-yo status between England’s top two divisions in recent seasons.
Bogle was arguably one of United’s brightest players during what was a miserable campaign that saw manager Chris Wilder sacked with 10 Premier League matches of the season remaining, with the 20-year-old picking up two goals – the third-highest tally in the team – despite not being a first-team regular.
It seems like it could be a win-win situation for United if they are able to make a profit on Bogle after just one season at Bramall Lane, however, if he does choose to stay he could be worth his weight in gold next season as the Blades look to fight for an immediate return to the Premier League.
