Following their relegation to the Championship after finishing bottom of the this season, the Blades will start next season against Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham City at Bramall Lane in what will be Slavisa Jokanovic’s first league game in charge, after he was announced as the new Sheffield United in May.

Birmingham’s trip to the Lane is followed by two tricky away games for Slav’s men, travelling to play-off finalists Swansea before visiting The Hawthorns to play West Brom.

The Blades face a trip to Preston on and welcome Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough on the first day of 2022.

Sheffield United face a potentially tough fixture on the final game of the season as they welcome Fulham to Bramall Lane in a clash that might be one that affects the race for promotion as surely both sides aim for an immediate return to the League.

It looks like fans are considerably upbeat ahead of the new campaign, with many seemingly expecting the club to seal a place back in the top flight at the first attempt.
