Filip Krovinovic is a wanted man this summer after spending this season at two different English clubs on loan, but many Nottingham Forest fans are against the permanent signing of the midfielder.

The Croatian spent the first half of the season on loan at West Brom before joining Nottingham Forest in January, where he scored once in 19 appearances.

Reports suggest that Chris Hughton is keen to bring him back to the City Ground this summer, though they face competition for the Croatian, according to Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti (via Nottinghamshire Live).

The report also claims that Krovinovic, who has one more year left on his contract at Benfica, is also wanted by Spartak Moscow, who are now managed by Rui Vitoria, the man who signed the 25-year-old for Benfica in 2017.

But Forest fans on Twitter have suggested that they welcome the competition for Krovinovic and suggested that they wouldn’t want the Croatian returning to the City Ground.

So clearly, Krovinovic, who is valued at £3.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), wasn’t a fan favourite during his brief stint at the City Ground, but by the sounds of it, Chris Hughton was impressed, and may face a battle to persuade him to come back this summer, despite what fans think.
