Some Leeds fans have been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding their club this afternoon on Twitter.
Leeds United fanzine @TheSquareBall posted a passage from the recent investigation surrounding gestures Ezgjan Alioski had made in a fixture against Burnley last season, for which he has escaped punishment.
According to the FA’s statement, one of the witnesses interviewed had referred to Alioski’s behaviour as childish, and it’s fair to say that some Leeds fans weren’t exactly shocked.
So how exactly did some Leeds fans react to the tweet?
“Alioski acting childish, I’m sorry I don’t believe this one bit!”
“In other words Alioski was doing an Alioski. Blimey.”
Judging by the reaction of many of the Leeds fans who replied to the tweet, they have clearly become accustomed to Alioski’s personality during his time at Elland Road.
And it seems these supporters have seen the funny side of this aspect of the investigation, as it appears to have shown something that they had known all along.
Leeds fans will surely be relieved to say the case against their player being dropped as he was found not guilty, as a statement read on the official website on Tuesday afternoon.
