Leeds United fans have been reacting to news regarding the future of Gjanni Alioski following news from the Football Association.
It’s fair to say the North Macedonian is something of a character when it comes to his antics on and off the football pitch, as this compilation shows, and it has led to something of a love affair developing between him and the Leeds fans.
However, that behaviour can sometimes border on the edge of getting into trouble, as he found out last month when the FA announced they were launching an investigation into a gesture he made towards Burnley’s Dwight McNeil towards the end of the season.
The results of that investigation were released today and it was decided that no disciplinary action would be taken on the 29-year-old, which led to Leeds fans branding the whole ordeal a farce that shouldn’t have happened in the first place:
“Good. This was ridiculous”

Of course, the big caveat in all this is that whilst he has had a contract offer from the club, he still hasn’t signed it, so he may not have even been in the Premier League for Leeds United if they had punished him.
