Leeds United fans have been reacting to a video that has come out detailing the career of midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
These past few years have been a transformation for the 25-year-old, more or less a mainstay in the team under Marcelo Bielsa, he’s now starting for England in a major tournament and put in a man-of-the-match display as Gareth Southgate’s men came out victorious against Croatia.
But his football journey goes far beyond these past few years, as this video from ITV ahead of the England v Scotland game documents. They looked back into his childhood, his younger footballing days and the influences that he has had along the way.
It’s certainly been an incredible journey for the boyhood Leeds fan, and it wasn’t long before the club’s official Twitter account took the opportunity to show their love for him, as they relayed the video to the supporters where there were plenty of them ready to get emotional at how he has progressed through the years:
