Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding the future of winger Raphinha.
It certainly was an impressive debut season in the Premier League for the Brazilian, who is valued at £27m on Transfermarkt, as he scored six goals and contributed nine assists, helping Leeds United to a top-half finish along the way.
And numbers like that have clearly earned him some admirers in the Premier League, with Liverpool reportedly showing an interest and willing to make big sacrifices in order to make it happen.
A recent report from The Mirror claims that one avenue that might be open would be using Harry Wilson as bait, with Leeds reportedly in talks on signing the Welshman after a decent season at Cardiff City, where he scored 7 goals and chipped in with 12 assists.
This news was relayed on social media by Liverpool outlet @TheAnfieldBuzz, where it was seized upon by Leeds fans who were quick to laugh off any suggestion of the deal going through, so convinced were they that Raphinha won’t be leaving:
“Imagine thinking Bielsa would let Raphinha go though.”
Do you expect Leeds to keep Raphinha this summer?
Yes
No
We’ll just wait and see if these comments end up coming back to haunt them later in the summer if a deal does actually happen.
