Many Leeds United fans have been talking about the latest news involving Raphinha that emerged on social media.
SportItalia journalist Gianluigi Longari has recently tweeted about the situation of Leeds star Raphinha, stating that it is now confirmed that Liverpool are leading the race to sign the Brazilian this summer. Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested in the player but it won’t be a simple deal as Leeds want to keep the player.

Most Leeds fans were angry about the news and they clearly don’t want Raphinha to depart the club in the summer, however, one fan took more of a positive from that matter and spotted that the club don’t actually want to sell him.
Raphinha arrived at Leeds only around a year ago and going by Expected Assists, he was their most creative player in the 2020/21 campaign. He also contributed to 0.57 goals per 90 minutes for the side, which shows his value to the side (as per FBRef).
Considering those numbers, it would make sense for Leeds to keep the 23-year-old at the club as his value will only increase and the Whites could make a bigger profit in the future.
