Many Leeds United fans have been discussing an update about former player Jean-Kevin Augustin that emerged on social media.
Marshment recently relayed an update about Augustin, sharing an article from RB Live which claimed that Leeds will find out at the end of the week as to whether they might have to pay a compensation fee to RB Leipzig for the French striker.
It was stated that the case involving Augustin will be ruled by a judge from the Players’ Status Commission.

The dispute pertains to the loan agreement involving Leeds and Leipzig for Augustin in January 2020, when he had signed for the Whites on an initial loan. Leeds had an obligation to buy the player if they earned promotion to the Premier League, which they did.
The issue, though, lies in the date of the paperwork of the deal and Leipzig believe that Leeds should be paying.
Marshment’s tweet drew the attention of many Leeds fans, who made their views clear about this issue.
