No Leeds fan will be happy to see Raphinha leave the club this summer or anytime in the near future, however every player has their price and former midfielder David Norris believes that Raphinha’s would be near the £100 million mark.

Leeds will be wanting to keep hold of their best players heading into next season as they will have momentum and confidence after enjoying a successful first season back in the top flight, and Raphinha will be crucial to any of their success.

Will Raphinha leave Leeds?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The Brazilian’s 7.22 WhoScored rating is a solid mark considering it was his first in England and his silky skills and ability to carry the ball was a revelation at Elland Road, and his 118 attempted dribbles will be one of the reasons why clubs such as Liverpool are interested in the winger.

It appears unlikely that Leeds will entertain any offers for Raphinha unless some club was willing to pay well over the odds for him, and Norris believes that it will take £100 million for Leeds to part ways with Raphinha – something he spoke exclusively to This is Futbol about:

Leeds don’t need the money and they want him to stay and he wants to stay, so they will just price him out of the market and if Liverpool pay a lot for him, then they can probably bring in three or four players on ridiculous money.

They can pretty much name their price and it would be something ridiculous like £100 million for him or somewhere in that bracket. So, I think that’s what will kill it because like I say, Leeds don’t need the money.”

Leeds have had some odd players over the last ten years but how well do you remember them. Starting with the most recent one, who is this?

Marcelo Bielsa clearly sees something in Raphinha and trusts him to carry the team when required and he won’t be wanting to see him leave the club, less than 12 months after he brought him over from France.
