Derby County fans turned to Twitter to react to Kamil Jozwiak’s assist against Spain during the European Championships.

The young Polish winger produced a delightful cross which was headed home by Robert Lewandowski during Poland’s 1-1 draw with Spain on Saturday evening.

Derby’s official Twitter account posted about Jozwiak’s assist, which triggered several responses from Rams fans…

“He hugs the line like a proper old-fashioned winger for Poland. For us he has to come more inside to try and make a difference so we never see the real quality he has it’s like when we played Vydra out wide. If you buy a player you can only judge him if he’s played correctly”

Judging by the comments from Derby fans, there seems to be mixed feelings towards Jozwiak, with some recognising the 23-year-old’s ability but suggesting that he doesn’t show it for the Rams.

Jozwiak signed for Derby in September for an undisclosed fee. In his first season for the Rams, which was a tough one for Wayne Rooney’s side with the club narrowly avoiding relegation, Jozwiak scored once and provided three assists in his first season for the club.

The winger has started both games for Poland at the European Championships so far with his pinpoint cross being his first goal involvement of the tournament as he assisted the Bayern Munich striker.

Supporters of the Rams will be hoping that he can have a good season for Derby next term.
