Birmingham City fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest transfer news and rumours involving the football club.

This comes after Football Insider reported suggesting that a £1.5million package has been offered to Blues from Leeds United for youngster Amari Miller.

Fans of Birmingham were quick to respond to the news and were not shy when it came to sharing their thoughts after the claim was shared on Twitter

Shame, local lad and was highly regarded by Bowyer giving him a chance last season #bcfc

“I mean it’s not the worse sum to receive. Just hope additional clauses and a nice sell on fee if his career does indeed take off in the future. Shame it’s happening but a prem club has come calling #bcfc”

Judging by the responses to the transfer rumour, Birmingham City fans seem satisfied with Miller’s valuation.

The 18-year-old right-midfielder, who can also play on the left, appeared for Blues’ first team on five occasions last season, playing across the club’s last six games of the season but being unable to get a single goal involvement during his 187 minutes of action.

The deal for Miller is understood to be an initial £200,000, which rises to £1.5m with add-ons. The youngster’s contract at Birmingham was up this year with the club reorganising the structure of their academy and Birmingham had announced that Miller was one of the few players who had been offered a professional deal back in May.

Everton were also reportedly interested in the youngster, but it looks like Leeds have won the battle for the signature of the 18-year-old.
