Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Gold’s Tanguy Ndombele update

A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest claim from Alasdair Gold regarding the Spurs midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele.

According to the Tottenham journalist, Ndombele is very happy and settled at the north London club following his turbulent start to life at Spurs since joining in 2019.

Ndombele has made 30 appearances for the Lilywhites in the Premier League this season and has found the back of the net on three occasions (via Transfermarkt).

However, the Frenchman did not feature in Tottenham’s Carabao Cup final clash against Manchester City or their Premier League victory over Sheffield United on Sunday.

Despite his lack of recent game time, Gold provided a positive update on the 24-year-old which was music to the ears of these Spurs fans when the news was relayed to them by @TheSpursExpress.

Ndombele joined Spurs in 2019 but was publicly criticised by Jose Mourinho after being taken off against Burnley in March 2020 but has seen a lot more game time this campaign.

Going by the reaction of these Spurs fans it is clear to see their delight at Gold’s latest claim regarding the Frenchman with the midfielder having made more of an impact on the Spurs starting XI this season.
