Tottenham Hotspur fans flocked to Twitter on Wednesday night to react to the performance of Harry Winks in the second half of their Premier League clash at home to Aston Villa.

Spurs beat Wolves on the weekend to take them above London rivals West Ham and into sixth place meaning a Europa League finish was in their own hands.

However, the first half did not go exactly the way the 10,000 returning Spurs fans would have hoped for as the Lilywhites found themselves trailing 2-1 at the break.

Fans flocked to Twitter to show their feelings towards Winks in what was his 14th appearance of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign (via Transfermarkt).

What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Harry Winks is a championship player at best. Mr sideways”

“WINKS LEAVE NOW”

Winks has been rumoured with a potential move away from the north London club this summer but has recently played in five of Ryan Mason’s six games so far as the interim manager (via Transfermarkt).

The reaction of these Spurs fans is pretty damning and it is apparent the second-half display of Winks left them far from impressed with the midfielder who has struggled on the whole for game time this season.
