A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to vent their anger at the latest claim to emerge surrounding their search for a new permanent manager.
According to The Sun, should the Belgium manager be appointed as the next Spurs boss, his backroom staff could take pre-season training to ease the transition while he is managing at this summer’s Euros.
Would Roberto Martinez make a good Spurs boss?
Yes
No
The former Everton manager is just one of many names to be linked with the job following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last month.
Ryan Mason has taken the charge on an interim basis, however, he is only expected to remain in the job until the end of the season.
Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from The Spurs Express to slam the report indicating Martinez could potentially become the next Spurs boss.
“please no”
It is apparent by the reaction of these Spurs fans that they are not impressed by the rumours linking them with potentially hiring the Belgium manager as their Mourinho replacement.
