A lot of Leeds United fans have voiced their frustration following the latest update to emerge on Twitter regarding potential summer signings.
The Yorkshire side have been heavily linked with a move for Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul and Stade Brest’s Romain Perraud ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Can Leeds push for Europe next season?
De Paul has had an excellent season for the Serie A outfit this season having netted on nine occasions and provided 10 assists in the league alone (via Transfermarkt).
As for Perraud, the French left-back has found the back of the net three times and provided seven assists in Ligue 1 this campaign (via Transfermarkt).
However, journalist David Anderson has dropped a huge bombshell on rumours surrounding both players.
What exactly did these Leeds fans have to say?
“Don’t spoil my day please Dave.”
“The Perraud part of this is the interesting bit.”
“Well thanks for all the bad news.”
“sits in a corner and cries”
“Bit louder pleaae for all the people that are still going on about it, depsite saying all this last season”
Leeds ended their 2020/21 Premier League with a ninth-placed finish following their comfortable win on the final day of the season against West Bromwich Albion in front of 8,000 fans at Elland Road.
Going by the reaction of these Leeds fans it is clear they are disappointed to hear this claim from Anderson, however, it is worth remembering the transfer window has not even opened yet.
