Lots of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest news to emerge regarding their Spanish striker, Rodrigo. 

It follows on from a tweet by Graham Smyth, where he explained that the striker has not been called up for Spain’s Euros squad ahead of this summer’s tournament.

One Leeds player which did make the cut was Diego Llorente following an impressive season for the Whites, averaging a 6.90 on WhoScored, in which he has made 15 appearances in the Premier League after an injury-stricken start to the campaign (via Trsnsfermarkt).

Rodrigo has netted seven times for the Whites this season in the Premier League and four of those goals came in his last four appearances in the English top-flight (via Transfermarkt).

Leeds fans flocked to the tweet regarding the Spanish squad announcement to vent their frustration at Rodrigo missing the cut.

Going by the reaction of these Leeds fans it is apparent they are far from impressed by the decision to leave Rodrigo out of the national squad but at least he will have a full summer of rest ahead of next season.
