Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

“We do want to modernise the stadium,” he said.

“There’s the ability and capacity to increase it to 50,000-plus because the top Premier League clubs, that’s what they do have.”

Elland Road currently has a capacity of 37,890 but reported plans have suggested developments would dramatically increase it and make it one of the Premier League’s biggest stadia.

Leeds fans flocked to the tweet from journalist Beren Cross to show their thoughts at Marathe’s comments following the conclusion of their first season back in the English top-flight.

What exactly did these Leeds fans have to say?

“In Europe PSG is good for atmosphere but some of the viewing is restricted. Ajax is a great stadium too. We would probably be looking at three tall stands and a shorter South Stand in comparison.”

The Whites concluded their return to the Premier League with an impressive ninth-place finish following their victory on the final day of the season at home to West Bromwich Albion in front of 8,000 fans.

Would Leeds fill a 50,000 capacity stadium every week?
