Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

The Republic of Ireland defender joined the Bhoys on loan, but a series of disastrous performances plagued his time in Glasgow.

This post has drawn the attention of these Celtic fans who can’t believe how bad Duffy was.

The 29-year-old has appeared in the Premier League on 96 occasions, and his average rating from WhoScored of 7.31 is actually quite strong, but he did really struggle.

Worst player we had”

@allanb_67

Whoever scouted and recommended him should be away as well, he was never the type of centre half we needed.”

“That’s a disgrace btw, there are 2 games left we could at least have kept him til it’s finished or done it months ago. It’s no worked out but no need to humiliate the guy”

Celtic have had an awful season and are going to end the campaign miles off the top of the table, and in many ways, Duffy’s signing summed up the season.

For whatever reason, the move didn’t work, and Celtic will now have to try and find a replacement in the summer for Duffy.

It is clear that these Bhoys fans will not remember his time in Glasgow fondly.
