Celtic supporters have been reacting on Twitter after a report revealed Ryan Christie could be set for an exit ahead of a summer rebuild.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

Celtic’s underwhelming 2020/21 has seen several first-team stars linked with a move away from the former Scottish champions, and according to the Scottish Daily Mail, Christie will be the first to depart.

It was recently revealed that the 26-year-old’s contract rather surprisingly expires in January 2022, meaning the £8.1m rated midfielder (as per Transfermarkt) would be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement in the upcoming window.

The report in the Mail (as reported by 67HailHail), claims that both Burnley and Norwich City are interested in taking Christie to England, although the Celtic fans don’t appear to be too upset about the latest revelation.

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Celtic fans would not be too disheartened to see Christie leave the club this summer, and after bagging just seven goals in 44 appearances this season, it’s not too hard to understand why.
