Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after Lewis Morgan scored his first goal of the season for Inter Miami in spectacular fashion.
The 24-year-old winger joined David Beckham’s MLS outfit in January 2020 after an unsuccessful stint at Parkhead saw him score just two goals in 31 appearances for the Hoops.
However, Morgan has found life in America much easier, bagging five goals and providing a further five assists last season in the league.
The Scottish international has hit the ground running this time around as well, achieving an impressive 7.06 WhoScored rating and scoring the equalising effort last time out as Phil Neville’s side picked up their fifth point of the campaign.
Morgan’s form has been in sharp contrast to Celtic’s, who have relinquished their Scottish Premiership crown without a fight, and it appears as though several supporters regret his departure.
“shouldn’t of let him go”
“Bring him home”
“Fair play to him seems to be doing well in the MLS, hopefully the same for Klimala soon enough”
