A lot of Celtic fans have flocked to a post from the Daily Record Sport, which has a link to a story on their site with comments made by John Barnes on Paul Lambert.
Barnes, speaking to a site (via the Daily Record), claims that the Bhoys should forget about Eddie Howe and make a move for former Norwich City and Stoke City boss Lambert.
This suggestion has not gone down well with these Bhoys fans who are fuming.
“John Barnes is a parody.”
“What a numpty”
“It’s not 2012. Lambert has no stock anymore”

Yes, he is right
Lambert most recently managed in League One but was sacked by Ipswich Town in the 2020/21 campaign, and the Tractor Boys ended up outside of the play-offs as a result of the poor spell before Lambert was sacked.
So, you can see why these Celtic fans are not keen on Lambert and are baffled by Barnes’ comments.

Lambert did play for Celtic as a player, but it is pretty clear that not many of these fans want him back as their manager.
