Former Rangers ace Michael Ball has told This Is Futbol that the club will demand triple what they paid for Ryan Kent this summer if he is to leave the club.

Kent has been heavily linked with a move to Leeds United this summer, as boss Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly keen on a swoop for the winger, per The Sun.

This season, Kent has enjoyed an excellent season, scoring eight goals and laying on nine assists in 33 games in the Scottish Premiership.

Should Leeds sign Ryan Kent this summer?

Yes, get him in

No, don't need him

Steven Gerrard’s men have gone unbeaten this season, winning the title at an absolute canter.

Rangers paid £7.5m to sign the star from Liverpool and Ball insists Rangers would want three times that to allow him to leave, meaning he would cost £22.5m for any buying club.

Of course, Ball believes that Rangers would prefer to keep Kent, but a deal at such a price could see him move back to the Premier League, having earned such a transfer with his displays in Scotland.

He told TIF: “He’s going to probably cost double that, Rangers will want triple that if he’s going to the Premier League. You’d like to see Ryan stay where he is and win another title but he probably has deserved his move back to the Premier League with his performances.

“He’s been a key player for Steven. To go to the Premier League, Rangers will want to get top dollar for him; he’s got the ability, I’m sure if he comes to the Premier League he’ll make an impact just as he did in Scotland.”
