Lots of Celtic supporters have been talking about the latest tweet from the club’s official account that emerged on social media.

The Celtic Twitter account posted about David Turnbull recently, confirming that the midfielder has been awarded the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award. The tweet congratulated the former Motherwell midfielder and it also had Turnbull’s image on it.

While Turnbull has won this accolade, he was also in the running for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year award. He failed to win that though, as Hibernian youngster Josh Doig picked up that accolade.

The midfielder had joined Celtic from Motherwell in the summer, but the move came about 13 months after his initial transfer to Parkhead had failed because of an injury.

The tweet about Turnbull drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who were buzzing about it.
