Many Celtic fans have been discussing a news update about Olivier Ntcham that emerged on social media.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke recently tweeted about the situation surrounding Ntcham, reporting that the midfielder is now a free agent in the summer as Celtic have decided to terminate his contract at Parkhead early.
The midfielder’s loan stint at Marseille ends at the conclusion of June and while the Ligue 1 side have the option to buy him permanently, they have reportedly decided against the idea (L’Equpie, via GFFN) of signing him on a permanent basis.
Should Celtic allow Ntcham to leave for free?

No
The Frenchman had joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer of 2017 but going by O’Rourke’s update, they could now be ready to lose him for free. The journalist’s tweet drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their views clear.

Those things may not fill Celtic with any confidence and because of the lack of promise shown by Ntcham, it is not a surprise that the Hoops are willing to let him go.
