Celtic fans have been discussing the career of Albian Ajeti after some stats of his were revealed online.
The Swiss forward, valued at £4.05m on Transfermarkt, was bought this past summer from Premier League side West Ham United and has gotten off to a reasonable start to life north of the border, scoring six goals and providing four assists in all competitions during his time at Celtic Park.
Having played 1,218 minutes of football, Twitter account @aboutceltic pointed out that meant that he has been involved in a goal every 120 minutes that he plays at the club, trying to drum up some level of praise for him, perhaps worried that he might fall victim to the ‘mass Celtic summer overhaul’ that appears to be on the way at the club.
However, when the views were presented to the fans, there didn’t seem to be much of an appetite for him to stay, with many slamming him for what he has, or indeed hasn’t done, during his time at the club:
“Looks slow and immobile any time I’ve seen him.”
