Wolverhampton Wanderers fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Wolves midfielder Owen Otasowie and his latest display for the Midlands club during their Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion.

Coming off the back of a very disappointing 4-0 defeat against Burnley at Molineux, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side took a short trip to The Hawthorns to take on the Baggies and try and pick up three points.

Nice easy one to start off with, who currently sits top of the table?

During the first half of the match, lots of Wolves fans were not happy with what they saw from Otasowie and his display on the pitch, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts and feelings on the matter.

So, what did these Wolves fans have to say about Otasowie’s performance in the first half against West Brom?

“Otasowie struggling”

@theraffleboy

“Otasowie is so sloppy.”

@NicTeeGolf

“otasowie ain’t it”

@wwfc_brad_

Otasowie isn’t doing himself any favours here. All the attributes, but he’s literally given the ball away eight times in the first 18 minutes! #wwfc

@bromWWFC

Otasowie is awful #WBAWOL

@Lizard_adam

“Otasowie has got his boots on the wrong feet”

@daveandwolves

Given how the midfielder hasn’t played for Wolves regularly in the Premier League this season, this could perhaps be why he appears to be struggling to adjust, as well as the torrential rain possibly holding the ball up more than it normally would for a couple of his intercepted passes. Although, if you’re good enough to play in the Premier League then there really shouldn’t be too many excuses.

No

So, moving forward, everyone at the club will undoubtedly be hoping that Otasowie, who is currently valued at £1.35 million, can put in a better shift during the second half of the game against the Baggies than he did in the first half, or else he could find himself on the end of even more criticism.
