In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, former West Ham United midfielder Rob Lee has admitted he worries for the club if they sell Declan Rice this summer, even if they receive a lot of money for him.

Rice had played every single minute of Premier League football this season for West Ham until he picked up an injury while away on international duty with England.

Should Rice join Man United?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Manchester United reportedly hold an interest in the 21-year old and David Moyes has admitted the club will have to listen to offers for both Rice and Tomas Soucek in the summer.

Speaking on why he worries for West Ham if they lose Declan Rice and what it would take for the Hammers to sell their star player, Lee told This is Futbol:

“If Declan was to leave then I would be worried and the way that I look at it is, he’s one player that West Ham don’t want to leave and I think the club know that.

“It’s just a case of if teams are willing to offer stupid money, how long can you keep him for, and how long will the owners say no to offers? That’s the problem for me, but I hope he does stay.”

Nice easy one to start off with. How much do you think Declan Rice is worth?

Rice has become an England regular over the last 12 months with Gareth Southgate trusting him to organise the midfield and protect their back four or three.

The 21-year old is also reportedly interested in moving to Old Trafford having apparently been speaking to England teammates about the club.
