Many Tottenham supporters have been talking about some transfer news involving Joachim Andersen that emerged on social media.
The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke has recently talked about Andersen and his future, saying on an episode of the View from the Lane podcast that the defender has chosen to join Tottenham in the summer but the Lilywhites are yet to find an agreement with Lyon for his signature (via HITC).
Andersen spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan at Fulham and he did well, grabbing a decent WhoScored rating of 6.79 and only five Fulham players picked up a higher rating than the Danish defender.

Tottenham’s highest-rated centre-back in the 2020/21 campaign was Toby Alderweireld, but the Belgian is now 32 and isn’t getting any younger.
Davinson Sanchez has been linked with an exit in the summer and the same applies for Eric Dier. So keeping that in mind, Spurs might need new options for the centre-back position.
Mauricio Pochettino is being heavily linked with a move back to the club and even during his previous stint, Andersen was linked with Spurs. So a move for the Dane may make sense for Tottenham.
