Spurs are still on the lookout for a new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last week, and were dealt a blow when one of their targets Julian Nagelsmann decided to sign for Bayern Munich instead. But, according to another report, they may not have to go looking for their next target, he could come to them.
According to a report in The Sun, Nuno’s agent Jorge Mendes has made contact with Tottenham Hotspur to try and get the Wolves boss to North London this summer, despite the fact he is under contract at Molineux until 2023.
When the news was put to fans via the Tottenham Hotspur – Football.London Facebook page, however, there didn’t seem to be too much enthusiasm about him taking over from Mourinho:
They probably have their eyes set on someone else, but beggars can’t really be choosers so they aren’t really in a position to be turning people down at this stage.
