Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news about the vacant managerial position at the club.
Former player Ryan Mason was put in charge on an interim basis following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho, and now that the season is over, the next game they play should see a new man in the dugout.
Would you like Pochettino back this summer?
A report from The Athletic is claiming that Spurs are looking at Mauricio Pochettino to take over, with the Argentine “attracted by the idea of a quick return to the London club and to English football after failing to settle in the French capital.”
Pochettino had five incredible years in north London, helping to take the club forward and compete for trophies, but ultimately falling short on the big occasions and failing to win any silverware in his time there.
However, it’s clear to see that these fans want him after the update.
I guess it could be a case of ‘meet the new boss, same as the old boss’, as The Who so eloquently put it. Now we see if Spurs get fooled again and end up trophyless once more under Pochettino if they decide to go down that route.
