Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been talking about a news update about Jack Clarke that emerged on social media.
The Athletic has stated that Spurs youngster Clarke is a target for Championship side Nottingham Forest and it is stated that Clarke has the sort of characteristics that Chris Hughton wants in his team from next season onwards.
The article also states that Hughton’s relationship with Spurs could aid Forest in signing Clarke in the summer.
While Clarke had joined Spurs from Leeds United in the summer of 2019, he was sent back to Elland Road for the first half of the previous season. He was loaned out to QPR till the end of the 2019/20 campaign and the youngster was then sent on a temporary spell to Stoke City this season (as per Transfermarkt).
“When you consider we spent £10 million on him and we could have put that towards signing Fernandes you realise how poor the Tottenham recruitment system is.”
