A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their delight at the latest claim to surface on their search for a new permanent manager.
Following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last week, Spurs have been linked with a host of names to replace the 58-year-old with Ryan Mason taking temporary charge until the end of the season.

However, reported favourite Erik ten Hag was announced to have extended his stay at Ajax until 2023 with a new deal on Friday.
In light of this news, The Telegraph reported interest from Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick in the north London vacancy with the German leaving the Bundesliga side at the end of the season.
In response to the claim, Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from The Spurs Web to share their thoughts at being linked with the manager set to get his hands on the Bundesliga trophy this season.
“Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.”
Flick has been linked with the German national job with Joachim Low set to stand down after this summer’s European Championship.
Friday’s announcement regarding Ten Hag’s contract extension may have come as a disappointment to some Spurs fans; however, this claim certainly excited these Tottenham fans.
