Amid a strong season with Brighton, where he is currently averaging an impressive number of tackles per league game (via WhoScored), Bissouma is being linked with a move away from the Amex.
According to The Times, some of the top teams in the country are now after him, with the 24-year-old ready to leave for a new challenge.
Would Kane leave Tottenham for Chelsea?
Not in a million years
I can see him in blue
And Hendrie believes that challenge could come at Tottenham, though he has warned getting Bissouma out of Brighton will not be cheap.
In an exclusive interview with TIF, the ex-Villa player said:
“I don’t think you’d get him for anything less than £40m. I don’t think you’d get him at a cut-price rate; I think you’d have to pay some big money for him.
With Tottenham yet to appoint a permanent manager, transfers will probably be on the back burner for now.
Whatever the case, Bissouma seems to be very highly rated in the game, with former Spurs striker Gary Lineker raving about the Malian midfielder only last month, calling him “exceptional”.
