In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, Paul Stewart, who made 169 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, has revealed that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Son Heung-min leave this summer, with big clubs apparently looking at him.

Son has had a superb season for Spurs this season with him and Harry Kane developing a partnership that is one of the deadliest in the Premier League’s history.

Will Son leave Spurs this summer?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The winger was clearly hurt after Tottenham’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City last month, and he couldn’t hold back the tears after they failed to win their first trophy since 2008.

Speaking on why he wouldn’t be surprised to see Son leave and how big clubs will be looking at him this summer, Stewart told This is Futbol exclusively:

That relationship between Son and Kane is probably going to be decimated this summer and it wouldn’t surprise me if Son leaves as well.

Harry takes a lot of the plaudits but under the radar, you’ve got a world-class player in Son and I think big clubs will be looking at him.”

Which player scored Spurs' first goal of the Premier League campaign?

The £140,000 per week winger was signed from Bayer Leverkusen by Mauricio Pochettino back in 2015 for just £22 million, but he has proven himself to be one of the league’s best players in the final third.

His ability to play on the wing or through the middle has been invaluable for Spurs over the years and he will be hoping to keep his form up as Tottenham look to qualify for the Champions League.
