A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to vent their anger at Sergio Reguilon for his display in the first half of their game against Aston Villa on Wednesday night. 

Spurs went into the game knowing a spot in the Europa League is in their hands following their win on the weekend against Wolves.

The Spanish left-back scored an incredible own goal to give Aston Villa an equalising goal and level the score at 1-1.

Reguilon has made 25 appearances in the Premier League this season for the Lilywhites and provided four assists in those games (via Transfermarkt).

However, Spurs fans flocked to Twitter to vent their anger at their Spanish full-back following the own goal which saw Villa level the scoreline.

What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Reguilon you donkey”
“Reguilon is shocking tonight, absolutely shocking.”

The 24-year-old joined the north London side last summer from Real Madrid in a deal believed to be worth in the region of £27m (via Transfermarkt).

Going by the reaction of these Spurs fans it is clear to see their frustration held towards their left-back following his stunning own goal in the first half.
