Premier League 19/20

The article claims that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will present the club’s next manager with the option of re-signing Gareth Bale for the 2021/22 season.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Tottenham fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this latest news regarding Bale and Levy?

“Yessss”

@chaz_thfc

“Bale should be signing right now. We need quality and he is still quality. Too good to let go back to Madrid or other and he’s destroyed Lamellas goal ratio in less than a season.”

@Geordieonhol

“Re sign Bale.. if the new manager doesn’t want him.. don’t hire him”

@Rg_nald_SA

“It’s a complete no-brainer. Madrid don’t want him, the fans love him, he’s playing well when he plays and he’s sell a load of shirts. Just sign him”

@HugoTHFC

“Should be first signing no doubt”

@musa_v2

“This is a must”

@EwanBurden5

“Good news. COYS”

Spurs signed Bale back in September on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid.

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Spurs fans think signing Bale on another loan deal, or possibly on a permanent deal, should be a priority for the club or whoever comes in as their next permanent manager.

Would you be disappointed if Bale wasn't at the club next season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Considering how Bale has managed to score nine goals in 16 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season, it’s easy to see why these fans are desperate to see the Welshman stay at the club beyond his current deal.

In our view, Bale has shown that he has what it takes to be a useful member of the squad and a goalscoring threat, so the club should therefore try their best to keep him there as long as they can.
