A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from The Spurs Express, which has relayed comments made by Ryan Mason during his press conference on Joe Rodon.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

Mason claimed that the Welsh international hasn’t played recently because he has “fallen down the pecking order“.

This has drawn the attention of these Spurs fans who are fuming.

How is it possible for anyone who cal lace a pair of boots in that squad to fall behind Dier in the pecking order. Utterly ridiculous”

@AdamSomers11

Ryan Mason needs to stop playing his mate, Eric Dier!!”

@justinleong13

Mason must think we are clowns. We all know that you are playing your mates.”

@Balepropaganda

Do you think that Rodon should play?

Yes, he is better than the other options

Yes, he is better than the other options

No, he isn't that good

No, he isn't that good

Since Mason was appointed as Tottenham’s interim manager, Rodon hasn’t played in any of his first four games, and these comments suggest he might not play for Mason at all.

This post continued to draw in angry Spurs fans who had their say.

Wow. What a statement to make considering our CBs. Rodon must be thinking what the hell is be banging on about after that Leeds match.”

@ansonharries

Mason = clueless no experience”

Mason out”

@Thfc_k1

Rodon was signed from Swansea City in the last summer transfer window and has made 13 appearances for the club; however, after the dreadful display of Eric Dier against Leeds United, perhaps he should be given a chance before the end of the season.

Clearly, these Spurs fans want to see him involved, but it doesn’t sound too likely, judging by Mason’s comments.
