A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at the latest claim to emerge in their search for a new permanent manager.

According to Football Insider, Spurs are set to interview Scott Parker in the coming days in regards to the vacant managerial role.

Tottenham have been without a permanent manager since April after Daniel Levy’s sacking of their former boss, Jose Mourinho.

Parker has been the manager of Fulham since 2019 but was unable to prevent the Cottagers from relegation this season which was confirmed after their defeat to Burnley on Monday night.

Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from Hotspur Related relaying the claim and it is fair to say these fans were left far from impressed.

“Please be joking”

“Truly hope this is a joke.”

There has been a number of names to be linked with the vacant role with the north London side whilst former midfielder Ryan Mason has taken interim charge until the end of the season.

Going by the reaction of these Tottenham fans it would appear Scott Parker would not be their number one choice to replace Mourinho on a permanent basis with some bringing up the fact his side has just been relegated.
