A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to hail a recent tweet regarding their winger Allan Saint-Maximin to emerge. 

The French winger has made a huge impact in Newcastle United’s successful fight for survival this season having made 23 Premier League appearances in which he has been involved in eight goals (via Transfermarkt).

However, the latest tweet to emerge regarding the 24-year-old concerned his actions off the pitch.

The tweet showed messages between the winger and an ill Toon fan in which the Frenchman offered to send the child a signed Newcastle jersey.

The Toon Army flocked to the tweet from the child’s father and expressed their immense pride in the actions of their French star.

“Awesome man !”

Saint-Maximin had an impressive impact following his return from injury in Newcastle’s 2-1 victory over Burnley in which he came on to provide an assist and then score the winning goal (via Transfermarkt).

Going by the reaction of these Newcastle fans, it is clear to see their pride in Saint-Maximin and they will be hoping he can remain a Toon player ahead of next season having clearly become a fan favourite.
