Newcastle United fans have been reacting to news regarding the club and their plans for the final home game of the season.
With the restrictions that have been in place all year, St James’ Park has been without fans for the entirety of the campaign.
However, that will all change for the final home game of the season when they face Sheffield United, as 10,000 fans will be allowed in to watch that game.
The club announced their plans for the reintroduction of supporters, with season ticket holders eligible to participate in a ballot process.
There didn’t seem to be much attention paid to the prices or who would be getting in, instead, the fans seemed to be focusing on the kind of reception that manager Steve Bruce would be getting given the very tense relationship that has built up over the course of the season between them and the man in the dugout:
“10 thousand people screaming at Bruce please”
If Newcastle stay up this season will your opinion on Bruce change?
Yes
No
Bruce will be hoping these types of reactions will have calmed a little come the game against the Blades with the Magpies on the verge of clinching their spot in the Premier League for next season.
