Many Newcastle United fans have been discussing a tweet from Eintracht Frankfurt which concerned Jetro Willems.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s English Twitter account recently tweeted about Willems, saying that the Dutchman will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June. Along with him, Yannick Brugger, Lukas Fahrnberger and Jabez Makanda will also leave at the end of June. On top of that, Luka Jovic’s loan deal also expires in the summer.

The Dutchman was on loan at Newcastle last season, but he left at the end of the campaign. During a limited time, he contributed to four goals for the club and picked up a pretty good rating of 6.84 (as per Whoscored).
So even though Steve Bruce’s men have four options at left-back, Willems would add more quality to that position and if he joins on a free transfer, it may not be a bad deal.
