Nice easy one to start off with, who currently sits top of the table?

Kane wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur, and the Red D -vils, along with Manchester City and Chelsea – are reportedly keen on the 27-year-old.

However, it appears as if it is Manchester United who have made the first contact and look to be ahead of their rivals for the England forward.

He said: “Our information is that in actual fact, United are the only club so far to have entered into any serious negotiation with Kane’s representatives regarding a contract, which could be worth around £300,000 – [a] substantial upgrade on what he earns at Tottenham Hotspur right now.

“Having spoken to senior people at Manchester United, even though Edinson Cavani signed a new one-year contract, they don’t look upon Cavani as the answer, if you like, in terms of challenging seriously for major honours.”

Do you think that Kane will end up at Old Trafford?

Yes, we will get him

TIF Thoughts on Kane to Manchester United…

The Red Devils have used Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani as their main forward options this season, but Martial has only scored four league goals, and while Cavani has been good, scoring ten league goals, he is 34.

So, if they can put together a serious transfer fee for Kane, then we could see the 27-year-old moving to Old Trafford.

It seems as if wages won’t be a problem as the Red Devils are looking to add around £100,000 per week on top of his current deal at Spurs, but can they agree a fee with Tottenham?

It will be interesting to watch the Kane saga unfold throughout the summer, but if McGarry is right, Manchester United are ahead of the pack in terms of signing Kane.
